HAMMONDSPORT - T he eighth Annual Seaplane Homecoming at Depot Park is slated for Sept. 17, 18 and 19. Sometimes the ending of a relationship with a partner may also mean the end of contacts with mutual friends and new friendships have to be sought. There is also the challenge of financially supporting yourself/ children on your own for the first time. It may feel like you have to start your entire life over again. In some situations it is exactly that. For someone who has never been alone and on their own this can be a very scary and intimidating time in life that can lead to stress, frustration and even fear. If you have gone through a separation, divorce, break-up, or are going through a difficult time currently in your relationship with a partner or possibly contemplating ending the relationship, but arenÕt sure, this support group could help. This is a support group for women who would like to share their experiences and feelings with other women who have gone through similar situations. The Schuyler County Highway Department in association with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will hold a public information meeting to discuss a proposed bridge replacement project for the County Route 4 Bridge across Sawmill Creek, in the town of Hector, Schuyler County. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at the Hector Town Hall, 5097 NYS Route227, Burdett, NY 14818. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public, local businesses and elected officials with information regarding the project objectives and to give everyone an opportunity to provide input on the proposed project. Schuyler County and NYSDOT personnel will be available to answer questions and to discuss the design process associated with this project. The Schuyler County Highway Department in association with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will hold a public information meeting to discuss a proposed bridge replacement project for the County Route 4 Bridge across Sawmill Creek, in the town of Hector, Schuyler County. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at the Hector Town Hall, 5097 NYS Route227, Burdett, NY 14818. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public, local businesses and elected officials with information regarding the project objectives and to give everyone an opportunity to provide input on the proposed project. Schuyler County and NYSDOT personnel will be available to answer questions and to discuss the design process associated with this project. The project objectives are to replace the deficient bridge structure, improve the highway geometry approaching the bridge and increase the width of the bridge to provide a safer crossing of Sawmill Creek. Construction is expected to get underway in the Spring of 2011.
